Rumiplus Mash

RUMIPLUS MASH is a precision-dried lucerne that is chopped to provide the scratch factor and structure to the ruminant’s diet

With the addition of lucerne pellets within the bale, a quality diet can be achieved without reducing its nutrient density.  As a legume, RUMIPLUS MASH is high in quality proteins, palatable, and should be considered the natural buffer for the cow’s rumen.

Fewer strands of fine material

Though similar to Rumiplus, Rumiplus Mash has been designed to be used by farmers and blenders who want the fibre of lucerne, but fewer strands of fine material. This is achieved by increased sieving of the crop and using lucerne that has been harvested in July and August.

Dehydration to 90% dry matter and blending different fields

Produces a uniform sample for accurate on-farm rationing and blending, whilst guaranteeing zero losses from field to farm to animal.

Additional lucerne in the diet as grass growth diminishes allows you to

  • Maintain nutrient intake and energy levels
  • Optimise rumen function by balancing NDF levels
  • Offer a valuable supply of undegradable protein
  • Reduce concentrate use

Use 2-4kg for dairy cows

  • Chopped lucerne and pelleted lucerne
  • On average, each bale is 420kg and measures 1.4m x 1.2m x 0.75m
  • Delivered in 24 tonne loads
